Direct flight Jakarta-Dhaka to open soon

The Bangladeshi Authority has granted approval for Sriwijaya Air to open Jakarta-Dhaka route pp. In the meantime, the frequency of flights will be 4 times a week, the schedule of which will be determined in accordance with the agreement between Indonesia and Bangladesh.

Sriwijaya Air will open the Jakarta-Dhaka-Jakarta direct flight route by Boeing 737-800NG with a capacity of 189 passengers. The opening of the direct flight route by the Indonesian national carrier is expected to further enhance bilateral relations, notably in the fields of trade and tourism between Indonesia and Bangladesh with the opening of direct flights from Indonesia to Bangladesh which only takes 5 hours.

Sriwijaya Air has appointed Heramine Incorporation Limited as the general sales agent in Bangladesh. Sriwijaya Air flight to Dhaka will provide full service facilities such as baggage arrangements, online check-in and meals during flight, but at affordable price.
