Indonesia Wins Four Titles in Vietnam`s Badminton GP Open

Semarang, Central Java (ANTARA News) – Indonesia won four titles Badminton Championships Yonex Sunrise Vietnam GP Open 2014 ended on Sunday.

According to Tournamentsoftware website monitored here on Sunday, Indonesia grabbed the titles in the mens single, mixed double, womens double and mens double vents.

Indonesia only failed to win the womens single title which went to Japans shuttlers Nozomi Okuhara va Aya Ohori the all Japanese finals. The Yonex Sunrise Vietnam GP Open 2014 offered a total prize of US$50 thousand.

In the mens single, Indonesias Dionysius Hayom needed three hours to defeat Indias Prannoy HS. Hayom in three games with a score of 18-21, 21-15, 21-18.
The mixed double event was won by Indonesias Muhammad Rijal/Vita Marissa who beat their compatriots Irfan Fadhila/Weni Anggraini 21-18, 21-10 in 30 minutes.

In the womens double, Indonesias Mareta Dea Geovani/Rosyita Eka Putri Sari also defeated their compatriots Gebby Ristiyani Imawan/Ni Ketut Mahadewi Istirani with a score 21-19, 15-21, 21-10.

The other title won by Indonesian players was the mens double event where Andrei Adistia/Hendra Aprida Gunawan beat their Japanese rivals Kento Kazuno/Kazushi Yamada with a score of 15-21, 23-21, 21-17.
