Ordinary Passport

15 countries and territories are eligible for a “Visa Free” facility. Those holding valid Ordinary Passports from the following countries will be granted a non-extendable 30-day Visa-Free Short Visit Permit upon arrival at an Indonesian international gateway without charge:

  2. Malaysia
  3. Singapore
  4. Brunei Darussalam
  5. Philippines
  6. Cambodia
  7. Laos
  8. Myanmar
  9. Vietnam
  10. Hongkong SAR
  11. Macao SAR
  12. Chile
  13. Morocco
  14. Peru
  15. Ecuador

Entry Requirements for Visa on arrival (VOA) above countries:

  1. Passport must be valid for a minimum of 6 months as from the date of entry into Indonesia.
  2. No compulsory vaccinations.
  3. Visitors must enter Indonesia from The international airport or seaport of Indonesia which is has visa authorization facilities.
  4. Onward or return tickets are compulsory.

Visa Requirement for Holders of Ordinary Passport

  • 1 (one) print out of visa application; filled up online from www.indonesia-dhaka.org;
  • 2 (two) recent colour passport size photographs with red background;
  • Authorization letter from travel agents (if the applicant apply visa from the travel agent);
  • Request/recommendation letter of the visa applicant;
  • Invitation letter from sponsor in Indonesia (for Business/Social-Culture Single Entry, Limited Stay and Multiple Entry Visas); the sponsor should send invitation letter to Indonesian Embassy through Fax No. (880-2) 8825391 or (880-2) 58810993;
  • Valid passport or travel document with at least 6 (six) months validity for Single Entry Visa and at least 18 (eighteen) months validity for Limited Stay Entry Visa & Multiple Business Entry Visa, from the date of submission;
  • Photocopy of the passport of the applicant;
  • Photocopy of the Company Trade License;
  • Photocopy of the  Bank Statement; (last 3 months from the date of application);
  • Hotel booking (only for the Tourist Visa applicant);
  • Photocopy of return ticket (or ticket to continue travel to another country) of the applicant;
  • Proof of the Clearance letter from Indonesian Immigration (for Social-Culture Single Entry, Limited Stay and Multiple Entry Visas);
  • Proof of the Clearance letter from Indonesian Immigration (Limited Stay).
  • Please provide all original documents of the applicants when submitting to the counter visa.

Additional Requirement

  • Copy of reference/recommendation letter from the institution or specific department/division for those who are assigned to conduct activities in: religious missions/research work in education, social or cultural fields;
  • International Certificate of Yellow Fever Vaccination for those who are coming from or stop over an infected area;
  • Reference/recommendation letter from Airlines Offices (package tour arrangement).

Delivery of the visa are  4 working days.
