President Joko Widodo Congratulates American People on Presidential Election

On behalf of the government and people of Indonesia, President Joko Widodo congratulated the American people on the United States Presidential election.

The result of the election reflected the will of the majority of the American people.

In his statement, the President also conveyed his congratulations to the President-elect, Donald J. Trump.

Indonesia is ready to continue mutually beneficial cooperation with the United States.

President Joko Widodo also invited the President-elect to continue cooperating to build global peace and prosperity.
